Guidelines & Privacy
A few simple ground rules keep this network useful, respectful, and safe for everyone. Here is how it works, what is expected of members, and how your information is handled.
Community Guidelines
Show up the way you would in person.
Keep your profile honest
Use your real name, your real profession, and tags that truly reflect what you offer and are looking for. Keep it current as your business changes.
Reach out with purpose
Send personal, relevant messages. No mass messages, copy and paste pitches, or unsolicited marketing. Members can send up to 10 messages an hour.
Respect privacy
What you see here stays here. Don't copy, export, or share other members' information outside the network, and don't add members to email lists without their permission.
Follow Fair Housing and the law
No discrimination of any kind. Every member is expected to follow Fair Housing laws, licensing requirements, and the rules that govern their profession, including North Carolina Real Estate Commission rules for licensees.
Understand what this network is
This is a free networking directory, not a referral, brokerage, or lead service. Madison Marie Photography does not arrange deals, collect fees, or take a share of any business between members.
Do your own due diligence
Members are not vetted or endorsed. Before working with anyone, verify licenses, references, and insurance just as you would with any new contact.
Report anything that feels off
Use the Report link on any profile. Reports are private and go only to the network admin.
How guidelines are enforced
Depending on the situation, a profile may be hidden, an account may be suspended, or an account may be permanently removed. Banned email addresses cannot rejoin.
Privacy Notice
Your information, in plain language.
What is collected
When you join: your name, email, password, and profession. If you build a profile: your company, location, tags, bio, and any business phone or email you choose to add. When you use the network: the messages and reports you send.
Who can see what
- Your profile is visible only to verified members, and only after you choose to publish it.
- Your login email and password are never shown on your profile.
- A business phone or email appears on your profile only if you add it and turn on "Show my contact info," and only to verified members.
- Your login email is shared with another member only if you tick "Share my email" when sending them a message.
- The network admin can view accounts, profiles, and messages to keep the community safe and respond to reports.
Emails you will receive
Account emails, like your confirmation link, password resets, and new message alerts. Network updates are sent only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe from them anytime.
Services that help run the network
Your information is stored and processed by trusted providers: Supabase (accounts and data), Netlify (website hosting), Resend (account and alert emails), and Mailchimp (optional updates). Your information is never sold.
Your choices
You can edit or unpublish your profile, hide or remove your contact info, and change your email preferences anytime from My Profile. To delete your account and data, email connect@madison-marie-photography.com and it will be removed.
